Phil, I heard about your site from Herb Baggett and Tim Catchim. I live in the county and have chickens and a small garden. I also have friends in the city that would LIKE to have chickens but can’t because of Clarksville City Codes dept. Herb said that you had a petition? Can you email me some info and I will see if I can get you more support. I understand that people don’t want Roosters in the city, but hens are quiet and are good pets. MUCH better than a barking dog or a cat in heat!
Are you on Facebook? It’s also a good place to get heard.
God Bless,
Maria

We have started a petition and so far I have about 60 signatures. We have also started a facebook group called “Bring Back Clucksville” that you can join. Right now it seems that the petition is the only way to get the law changed since both me and and a friend have contacted our city council members with no luck to change the lawn. The most common laws I have seen is a maximum of 3 hens per house with no roosters which is not a problem for me. I will email with more info.
